So, the dining area and kitchen have lower ceiling than the rest of the home. We really love the wood. We really did not love the light fixtures!

So, I went on the hunt. I found this sweet flower shaped LED light for 5x less than retail price on ebay and we put it up last evening.

Getting it ready! You can see glimpses of the hall, stairwell, and living room. I love all the colors, truthfully. We actually found the living room rug at a place a few years ago and it matches perfectly. Even when I repaint it will be a similar theme. We are so happy with the cuteness of this place! Oh, ps…the spiderweb chairs we also found a year or so ago on marketplace. for a wicked deal! I am a treasure hunter!

We turned it on and the whole room lit up. We chose a soft light, and I was surprised about how bright it was. In the photo below it is not turned on. I actually could not take a photo it was too bright. It brings the area a warm cozy feeling without making you feel like you're in a dungeon!

There she is! A super sweet brilliant light fixture. Now to replace the one over the peninsula!

Now, we sat around talking after the install. Lyle & I sat in our chairs and Jakob sat on the stairs. I loved it. It feels so much like home already, and I am teary eyed about it. Quiet, homey, and peaceful. Such a nice thing. ❤
